By public transport, it will take you less than an hour to arrive from Paris-Orly Airport and Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport. Expect the same duration by taxi, depending on the traffic.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
With seven Metro lines and many bus services immediately accessible, it is easy to get to the Grand Hôtel du Calvados from anywhere in Paris or its suburbs. Nearby, you will also find Vélib’ terminals from which you can hire bicycles.
BY TRAIN
The Gare Saint-Lazare is only 25 metres from the hotel. Thanks to the Metro and the RER, it will only take you ten minutes to arrive from the Gare de l'Est or the Gare de Lyon. The Gare Montparnasse is located twelve minutes away by direct Metro route.
BY CAR
If you are arriving from the west of Paris, take the Boulevard Haussmann or the Rue de Constantinople. From the north, the Avenue de Clichy will take you directly to the Rue d'Amsterdam where the Grand Hôtel du Calvados is located. From the Autoroute du Soleil (A6) or the Autoroute de l'Est, take the Boulevard Périphérique to Porte Maillot and follow the signs for the Gare Saint-Lazare. The hotel is located in the heart of the Grands Boulevards and it’s easy to travel on these major arteries to reach the main centres of interest. Three covered pay car parks are situated less than a five-minute walk from the hotel.
